Sweet Pepper, LIEBESAPFEL

Sweet Pepper, LIEBESAPFEL

This variety has quickly become my new standard of early, productive sweet peppers. Round, deep red and slightly flattened and ribbed, they make great stuffers! But I must admit that I prefer to eat them raw, a sweet, tasty gift to enjoy in season, like a symbol of the garden’s abundance. Another seed variety born to travel: initially a German developed variety that was cultivated in Denmark then moved to Oregon, USA to be grown at Adaptive Seeds. Now part of most of my pepper trials as a control variety to which other ones are compared! To try at home!
Capsicum annuum.
